Die ersten Tage in Südafrika - Januar 2010

Ruth, die Koordinatorin unserer Partnerorganisation vor Ort in Kapstadt, schreibt: "We introduced a new concept at this orientation: it was a smaller version of the "Amazing Race" and the students were in 2 teams and had to find their way to various destinations around Cape Town using public transport, following a trail of clues. Paul took a day off school to take part in the 1 day of Orientation so that Per could have some male company. 2 students seemed a little homesick and a little bit tearful, but their support workers are keeping a close watch over them, and their host families are really warm and caring. Hopefully they will adjust soon."
